Issues
When Democrats took control of leadership in Michigan, they showed us that it wasn’t about what’s good for Michigan, but what’s good for them. They created government programs that will outlast funding, forcing taxpayers to foot the bill. They voted to enforce state level control over local property decisions. They passed legislation that favored union bosses rather than Michigan residents. They dismantled proven educational programs that helped students learn to read. They removed protections for mothers and their babies. Government’s heavy hand was used to keep Michigan residents under their thumb.
